It can be difficult to find objective advice about phimosis and circumcision online. The site that hosts this forum is a real good place to start (if it isn't the one you refer to in your post).

If you want objective info, stay away from anti-circumcision sites. A good rule of thumb to identifying an anti-circumcision site would be to check who it links to. If the site contains links to noharm, nocirc, and uses terminology such as "mutilation" and "butcher" then you know that you will not be getting unbiased information. Sadly, any site that does not speak out against the “evils” of circumcision is a “pro”, “fetish”, or even “pedophile” (no joke - over at the fathermag.com forum – this forum and it’s site is often suggested as being a pedo site!).

It depends on what you want to know and learn about in regards to this subject. Yahoo Groups have plenty of circumcision groups, there are places like parentsplace.com which have circumcision boards, but they are mostly geared towards infant circumcision questions and debate, but I’m sure if you ask you’ll get at least some response.

If you have specific questions that you want answered the simplest thing to do it consult your doctor. Or, alternatively, take in to account the comments people make and make up your own mind. Also there are a lot of actual medical sites online, which for the most part contain opinion-free information about phimosis etc.

If you have question about the surgery of adult circumcision you can try my Circumcision Faq.

All the best.
