It pokes out of the top of the foreskin when flaccid and It hasn't really decteased that much in size. Could it be a clot of some sort? I'm going to see what my GP has to say about this.
I had a partial circ last year due to similar conditions. As with any surgery you get bruising etc, I think it took about 2 - 3 weeks in all to clear up. I created an faq about my experience to help answer some questions about pre and post surgery, including recovery etc, that you might find helpful.

While stretching can work for some and not for others, the same too can apply that it can damage some and not others. While some of the anti-circ community will post (using different names) saying "I've been successful with stretching" it doesn't change the fact that because you repeat something all the time it does not become true. Sadly it is difficult to find objective information about stretching the foreskin online. You will most likely either come to anti-circ sites that don't consider anything other than their own advice as "good", or you come across those that are "restoring" their foreskin by elongating it - which is somewhat different from what you want to achieve (unless you want an extra couple of inches of unretractable foreskin!). I'd suggest that you try looking at medical advice/knowledge/conditions sites as opposed to those created by nocirc, noharmm etc. A good rule of thumb is that any site that uses words and terms such as "mutilation" or "butcher" or links to nocirc noharmm etc, is not going to give you objective information that would be useful.
Hope this helps.
