Well it's nearly 3 weeks since the op now and this is the situation. My concern has switched to the swolen lump underneath my foreskin - in fact, it seems to be connected to my frenulum. It sticks out the top of my foreskin when flaccid and flattens a little when erect. There is a hard bit on in the inside of this lump. It doesn't look right or feel good. It's also hindering my ability to retract the foreskin a little further than I ought to be able to.

As far as I can tell, I am healed up. There are no more stitches and all the bruising e.t.c is gone. The only time I was able to get my foreskin retracted to any degree was when I was flaccid. I managed about half way up my glans - it was something at least as in 23 years I'd never seen this part of me. Still, this is a different story when I am erect. It's not as uncomfortable as before, but there's not a chance at the minute I can retract it at all when erect. In a sense, I haven't had any change since before my op.

So tomorrow I am going back to my GP becuase of this swolen bit. It's not subsiding, so I can't imagine how it will be repaired. I'll let you all know.

I'm due back to see the surgeon on the 12th of next month. I'd like to get back before then to get this damn thing sorted. I'll admit this (and please don't bitch at me for this) I am not going to stretch myself for months on end in order to repair this. I'll apply the ointment for the number of weeks I'm told to and if I can't retract then, or if I feel my progress isn't worth the effort I'll move on. Stretching, operations or just doing nothing...everyone has a choice, and not every option works for everyone. The preputioplasty didn't work for me as I had expected (this is what I had becuase I still have all my foreskin.)

If all other options fail to work for me I will go ahead with a full circ, but the ointment comes first. Hope I don't have to go through some sort of procedure becuase of the wee lump I have. Grr. Seems like such a simple problem, but a whole lot of fuss in fixing it!

>» My doctor told me that with the cream, you don't need to stretch.

>Nonsense. The cream is not a wizard. You apply it to have the skin response better (as in grow better) when force is applied. Stretching, if you do with sense, and I bet you wouldn't want to hurt yourself, will cause no damage; and with the help of the Betametasone ointment you simply speed up the process.
