As an answer to: BXO (circumcision not cure) written by Paul B. at 18 Jul 2002 23:33:38:

Before the circumcision , both my family doctor and the urologiost didn't know that I have BXO. SO I had no medical treatment for 13 weeks after the surgery.

>> why does my penis swell all around the incision area after surgery?
>Well, that would to some extent be expected, though it would generally settle down at three months. However the area appears to have another disease viz.- the BXO - present and perhaps this is contributing to the swelling. I am not sure exactly how the swelling, as such, is really affecting you, but again - perhaps you should use the steroid and see.

The swelling is all around the incision area, like a collar around the penis.
However, when the penis is fully erected, the swell goes flat but not completely flat. Sometimes the swell thightens my penis like someone squeezing your neck.

I have just started my application of steroid cream on Tuesday July 17th,2002.

When I was told that I have BXO on July 8th,2002 I was so scared. I searched on the internet for informations and was happy to learn that circumcision could stop or cure the disease but I guess I am not lucky since I still have BXO and it has been more than 3 months now since the operation. I am not sure if the reason I still have BXO is because of "loose circumcision" ? I read on a website that the whole foreskin should be removed or else BXO would still be there. Hmm...but I thought the urologist who did the operation referred to the circumcision as "full circumcision". Well when my penis is not erected , there is wrinkle behind the glad(head of the penis).
