No, AJ, to my knowledge you have never ever explained how you attempted to stretch, by what device or devices, over what period of time, or with what results. We have only been able to read between the lines and speculate. If you would be so kind as to explain in detail your experience, it would help those young and not so young men by detailing what not to do. A blanket condemnation is insufficient, seeing how many successes at stretching have been demonstrated here and elsewhere.

As for the attempt to get into your head...it was necessary because you refused to explain yourself, save in general and in superficial terms. I wanted to understand your point of view, not being able to comprehend anyone preferring today a circumcision as a means of solving the now rather simple problem of phimosis. And yet, were I to have the opportunity to repeat the process from years ago with the same complete lack of knowledge and good advice as I then received, I would wish that your method would have been my own. I rather envy your solution, not that it is the best, but that it is better than the one that I chose. So, you see, there is not so much difference between us.

As for the name thing...well, AJ, I have given you access to my "real" name, address and phone number in what seems to have been a futile attempt to open up a discussion about our differences and similarities in a private forum. You would have it only public, it seems, with results that one could predict. There is still the possibility of private discourse. You have only to ask. While often being acerbic, I'm not the ogre you imagine. Some of my closest friends and confidants are members of Circlist, for instance. Indeed, Monday, 29 July, will witness another long and detailed give and take between two of us...in introduction, me here and the other in Southern Europe. There is no reason why two mature men cannot explain themselves to one another. I've put out my hand before. I do it again. Take it. You might be surprised. I have a firm and warm grip. Rood
