Find one that is smooth, just the right size which is "snug" but not uncomfortable (particularly against the glans), use lubricant (perhaps your Vitamin E), and tape it in unless it happens to be shaped to retain itself.

I'm not a "believer" in Vitamin E, or Aloe Vera, or Echinacea etc. That doesn't mean they don't work, which is to say, help some people, just that I don't personally have evidence (according to the rules of science) to say they do. In the absence of evidence as to any danger however, I think you can try Vitamin E and see how you go.

Not to my knowledge, nor can I think of any reason why it would be in there. Semen contains a few hormones of a class called "prostaglandins" because they were first found and studied in semen, but then realised to have important effects throughout the body, so they are not by any means unique to semen or even particularly concentrated in it. So I can't see that they would have too much effect either.
I suspect the point is that an emollient which will also be a lubricant, will help you in stretching, both to insert temporary (fingers) or persistent dilating apparatus, and to keep the skin in good condition as it stretches.
