Self-retracting Foreskin

My foreskin does not self-retract when I get an erection. I can move it behind the head manually and it's not like it hurts when I do it. I'm just curious whether or not it's supposed to self-retract when erect? If you're an uncircumcised man, does yours self-retract? Give me your thoughts on this matter. Thank you for your time
