I was in a similar position to yourself about a year ago (and had a partial-circumcision to resolve the problem), so can totally relate to what you are saying. Don't worry though, paraphimosis can be serious, though not often. If you have not done so already then there's some pretty good objective information about phimosis at the site that hosts this forum. However, to get an accurate view of what condition you are suffering with you would have to speak your doctor or a specialist and probably have a brief examination. You could also ask them about the solutions (which are covered at the site) and discuss the suggested pros and cons of each method.
