Many thanks for the helpful comments, particularly AJ and Paul. I forgot to mention my age earlier - I'm 43 - and I hail from Oz.
I've decided to go and see a skin specialist before committing to a loose circ. I was due to have a triple procedure all in one hit - a circ, a bladder neck incision and vasectomy. A tough day!
Probably should have seen a skin specialist ages ago, but my GP kept pushing me towards a urologist (which was of course the right thing for the bladder problem).
(PS I don't know why anyone would bother impersonating me, but this is my first post after the original one on 15th August).
