Don't worry about sensitivity. Those who were mutilated as babies and are now in their forties would gladly trade you places in a heartbeat. The glans will condition itself to interpret the handling in such a way that it won't cause you distress. You need to be patient. At least you will have your foreskin for protection during the conditioning period. Those who have it lopped off have no such luxury.
I highly doubt that you'll have much problem getting the cap from a BIC pen into the opening if you lube it up properly. Try doing it after your shower when the skin is most pliable. You are peeing through the opening, so if your stream gets through, the cap will too. If it's a tight squeeze at first, find something that will work.
