Offend anyone? Boy, are you way off track! Before you start worrying about offending anyone, just try thinking about it from the only point of view that matters in the slightest - your son's.

And if you truly want to understand it from your son's point of view, try this empathy experiment: How about you get circumcised first? That is to say, and don't get confused on this, you have a surgeon remove your clitoral hood and labia.

Now think - how would that feel? That would give you all the benefits of a boy's circumcision - greater sensitivity, much cleaner, easier to pee, less smell, "smooth" look. But don't just think, put your money where your "mouth" is - you go ahead and do it, and only on the basis of that evaluation, decide for your son.
