What do you call someone who creates a website and a forum explictly designed only with the intent of enticing others to join him in mutilation? What then do you call him when he adamently denies the obvious intent? What do you call him when you discover his advertisements for his handiwork on every circ forum and newsgroup in existance? What would he be called when he refuses to admit he is wrong by overwhelming documented scientific evidence?
I think we all know the answer to those quesions and the reasons for his actions, don't we? We also know that he can't help the overwhelming feelings that his illness causes him, and that it prevents him from making rational and logical decisions. All we can do is pity him, for he choses the path he takes. He's certainly aware by now that he's ill (at least there's been enough discussion of it), but only he can take the necessary steps to get some help. It's obvious that his family is in serious denial, or someone would have taken charge by now. We can only imagine what those poor people have to go through living with him in person, but that's their choice. Let's all thank our lucky stars that we need deal with his irritation only through the wonderful medium of the internet. In that respect, we are truly blessed, aren't we?
