my doctor says i need to be circumscised. i am 16... my foreskin has always been over my penis... very tight when limp and cannot be pulled back much. ...it all scares me ... talk about complications and infections. i asked my doctor about non surgical alternatives...he said that there aren't any. will simple stretching solve the problem, or will that complicate the problem?

This is a frequent problem for the uncircumcised, and why this forum begins with an article 'why all boys must be checked'. Your problem should never have been allowed to go on this long. But there is better discussion about it here than on most boards, so you probably came to the right place.
First, you have to ignore the idiots that don't even have foreskins, some of which don't even have penises at all, that tell you to smile and be happy and pretend nothing is wrong. You know something is, and so does your doctor.
Stretching takes routine effort, and is not an instant fix all. For some, it is only a temporary fix at best, and can be a life long problem. Circumcision, on the other hand, is a one time and permanent fix. It is -rarely- the doom and gloom that hysterical anti-circ people tell you too. Most guys are happy with it, and wish they had done it sooner. But its for -you- to decide, so if you want to try the stretching first, why not? You will find other guys just like yourself here, with the same problem, and the results they got from trying different things. But don't wait any longer and let your whole sex life and health be ruined. If you don't get complete satisfaction in about a couple of weeks at the most, you can still go for the cut. Good luck.
