LSA/ BXO - Suggested Cure

Lichen Sclerosis et Atrophicus - also called Balanitis Xerotica Obliterans or BXO, when it happens to occur on the foreskin (it can occur anywhere on the genitals, or the mouth, and is more common in women).

Because if they are circumcised, it cannot occur on the foreskin, but can occur on the glans, or the shaft. It would stand to reason that if women are circumcised, it is much less likely for them to develop it also as the skin at risk is removed, which might make a good argument for female circumcision - if anyone thought it worth doing.

Just as there is no cure for psoriasis, dermatitis or most other skin conditions. However, it usually settles down with steroids. Tar extracts, which the "thuja" oil resembles, may certainly be worth trying, and it seems a good suggestion for anyone with the condition.
