I've no idea if what you're calling sticky may be this or not, but just 'my' thoughts here. You may be a candidate for the phimosis again. The reason I say that is because normally the mucuous membranes are made to slide back and forth without sticking to one another, (such as in the mouth, genitals or even our internal organs) they have a 'slickness' to them, (a coating or covering,) without pulling on each other.

When the skin or tissue has been irritated for a long time or the skin 'broken', even by constant itching or if surgery is performed, it makes some of that tissue 'sticky' instead instead of 'slick', so that fibrous bands (or bridges) form instead, this causes pulling on one or more of the surfaces when 'movement' occurs. These 'fibrous bands' are natures way of trying to heal a broken or cut surface but we might end up fused, (for the women,) or with Phimosis, similiar idea.

Internally with surgery we might call it adhesions or agglutination, which means simply the clumping together of cells as a result of their contact with certain anti-bodies. Just like when a tree or shrub is 'grafted' with the two cut raw sides, they grow together, adhere or fuse.

Just my thoughts on it, but I think I'd get back on that steroid for a bit if it were me and do those stretching and tugging back excercises.
