And it certainly appears that Dr Trisha Macnair is a particular example of a "media doctor" whose speciality is reading medical journals and spouting them verbatim - as she does in this article, in order to sound "authoritative".

Unfortunately, it appears she has no actual experience/ expertise in the subject of (deprecated term) "BXO" and is entirely unaware of contemporary dermatological practice as indicated in the discussion below, as opposed to that of one particular group of clearly hot-for-the knife surgeons.
