Hehe, well, I myself have not only the fraenulum there, either; it's a thicker bit of skin, but that's how it is since I was 8 (before that I had adhesions on the corona, just like you described, but I myself freed them up by pulling. Nothing, ever, broke or teared when I pulled on it hard with intention to do so.). If you pull at the skin, you'll know when to stop. Just watch out and do it with care. You won't get damaged if you pay attention to what you're doing.
