This I understand.
>Honestly, I cannot see for the life of me, see why or how it could be "much healthier" if you opt to "learn normal masturbation". It should be pretty obvious that most masturbation techniques are "nothing like sex" for a number of reasons.
Well, that document often cited on this forum called Beauge or some such, suggests that fist-grip masturbation is healthier and more akin to sex (though obviously not an exact simulation).
However, I can fully understand the idea that 'whatever works is normal'.
>In short, you are merely inventing concerns that aren't, or shouldn't be there.
I'm glad you think so. I'll plough on, vary my style a bit and see how things go. I'm not in any rush and its a waste of energy to worry.
>Nonsense. It is common for people of both sexes to become "fixed" on a particular "style" of sexual stimulation. It may or not matter as long as they are satisfied, but there is much to be said for practicing various styles for variety. One quite obvious approach is to alternate continuously (in each session) between the more and less successful styles until both are equally effective.
Good advice and noted.
Thanks to everyone who responded, and btw its good to have found a site that discusses these kind of problems openly. Even the specialist who I saw at the hospital basically just said 'nothing wrong there, you just have to stretch it, m'boy' without offering any practical guidelines for how to do this.
