Where are these reports of stretched foreskins that reverted? I've never heard of this, and can't figure it out too well. If we're talking about infection (thrush for example), then yes, there are reports of this. But (i) this wouldn't necssarily be a case of reversion, and (ii) anti-fungals followed by some stretching would seem a good first-line treament option.
Unless there's infection, however, I just don't buy it. I suppose the idea is a little like you take several months to get yourself really supple so you can touch your toes and so on, then you sit on your ass for the next six months so you aren't supple any more and you have to start all over again, though this time round you may find the program easier.
But what guy with a limber foreskin is going to let it alone for long enough so it reverts, even assuming this is possible in the absence of infection. Does this guy exist? I mean come on. The guy's gotta pee. There will be nocturnal erections. He'll handle himself in the shower. He'll masturbate.
Once you get it working in a way that really suits you, maintainance takes care of itself.
