What's done is done, so restoration should resolve your situation well.

The surgery should have eliminated the possibility that paraphimosis will ever occur. What is left is stretchable, and it might be adviseable to start doing that now. Although it is still tender, you could do it. Dr Paul advised a guy to do this a few weeks ago, so I think he'd probably approve in your case also. As you surmise, swelling will be a detriment to retraction, but that will subside with time and patience. One way or another, you will eventually develop patience.

Sorry to hear about lack of support. Had we known, we certainly would have guided you in the right direction, but as I said, it's now best to look to the future and move on. Now that you're here, we'll give you the support you need.
