Hmmmm...What is sexual abuse?
(Law) An attempt to do violence to another with or without battery (beating, wounding or touching in an offensive manner). Rape, sexual assault, or sexual molestation.
Now, what is RIC...Routine Infant Circumcision. What, in fact, is circumcision?Circumcision is the removal of the foreskin of an intact penis. By so doing, the penis is 'mutilated' (to make imperfect by removing or irreparably damaging part of a person's body). The foreskin is physically 'assaulted' with scalpel or other instrument.
Therefore, to circumcise a person's penis is to assault and mutilate that penis, that person's body.
To genitally mutilate and assault anyone for any reason with force and coercion and without their consent is to physically and sexually abuse that person.
To circumcise a helpless baby (boy or girl) is to sexually and physically abuse that child.
Therefore Routine Infant Circumcision IS Child Abuse.
