The announced purpose of circumcision for at least two thousand years has been to render the penis relatively insensitive, so to suggest that doing so achieves that goal is hardly a leap of logic. It is only since groups have arisen who have made a fetish of the circumsized condition that the mutilation and desensitization have been (ineffectively) denied.

I have had a large number of Jewish friends, and I find that in general they achieve much of what they set out to do. To say that they have achieved the recognized purpose of circumcision by their near-universal practice of 8th day infant circumcision is not at all 'racist.' It is they who choose the practice (or they were chosen to practice it, depending on your theological views), so to follow out the consequences is neither ignorant or racist. Frankly I doubt you even really know what 'racist' means - you just hear a comment which touches on cultural differences and you sling an epithet. I did not expect you to agree, but let's put aside name-calling.
