Find another doctor. Your "doctor" is out of her mind in recommending circumcision, and it is a huge indication that she isn't on your side. She wants to cut away the 'problem' rather than solve it.
Stretching should be slow and gradual. If anything hurts, you are being too forceful. That goes for enlarging the preputial orifice or in foreskin restoration. Steroid use is only meant to facilitate stretching. Concentrate your main attention on the stretching exercises recommended by Jim.
The purpose for the other forum, which is new, is to help individuals in the process of stretching without the resident wasp buzzing around and confusing the issue.

>Thank you for your reply and advice.
>The reason that I was very keen on integrating steroid and stretching is that I tried just doing the stretching some time ago and then I left it because my foreskin had become a little sore. This is very likely due to the fact that I was being a little too forceful in my attempts and then I read somewhere (I think on this forum) that this can actually have the contrary effect in the sense that it can make the narrow ring of skin on my foreskin harder and more difficult to treat. This is why I stopped and was keen on using steroids which I hope will help me in my exercises.
>Now I'm a little annoyed that I might be using a type of steroid treatment that isn't the ideal one for this application but I didn't want to be too pushy with my doctor. She actually did tell me to go back and see her in 2 weeks to see if there was some improvement and she added that if this treatment didn't work I would have to get circumcised. I said OK because she insisted on this but I don't think my condition is serious enough to consider circumcision.
>Thank you for your practical advice on how to do the stretches. I will integrate this new exercice in my routine and hopefully will soon see some improvements.
>Thank you also for suggesting the other forum. I've had a look but there doesn't seem to be as much activity and input there as there is on this one and although I had the impression that a lot of messages on this forum are personal fights between different posters, there is also a LOT of valuable information and input.
>So thanks again.
