Many thanks for your kind and sincere advice. I will try out the method that you suggested later! No doubt it WILL hurt, but I have to try and start making progress on this matter! I get the impression that you are quite well read, and would like to thank you for the advice you have given! I have a significant number of inhibitions regarding this and as a result cannot face going to see my local GP. Is this a common problem in men by the way?

I do have some lube and will try it tonight. If it does hurt I will see what happens. Will this pain get easier to accept?
