Well, if the treatment for Interstitial Cystitis led to a remission, then that makes it pretty highly suggestive that the diagnosis is Interstitial Cystitis - sadly, as this is one of the worst diseases there are. I have limited experience however with Interstitial Cystitis (my wife may well have studied it a bit more), and cannot suggest whether the drugs you mention are good or bad. Suffice it to say that if that doctor knows how to treat it, go back to him!

That is nasty indeed. Just perhaps, intercourse may not be as traumatic.

> If I get married my condition will be worst.

Perhaps. But for sure, go back and see the doctor who did help.

> I am also suffering from severe muscle pains (back pain, thighs, legs and neck pain, stress, fatigue and I do not get sound sleep).

You may benefit from treatment with antidepressants if they helped, you should stay on them for a long time.

> Please tell me whether this pain is due to over masturbation.

As Ivan said, no way on earth! OK, it is painful to masturbate if your urethra is tender, but that's totally confined to your urethra. What happens elsewhere, happens elsewhere.

In fact, everything Ivan says below is "spot on".
