This still doesn't mean that /all/ those who are Jews -- even the religious ones -- will look at you like if you were a total moron. I have known many Jews in my life, quite some of them were believers, and they didn't handle me like that, though they knew I wasn't. I can very well imagine it to happen, but it didn't happen to me. I see it more likely to get called a heathen and a spawn of Satan or something, from the mouth of someone of the Christianity-related faiths...
There is no such thing as 'praying to the wrong god' -- there is however something like 'doing the wrong thing for a god (or for the religious leaders, check whichever applies)'. What I mean, briefly, is that you are free to choose whatever you want to believe in, but I do not accept people forcing beliefs and religions upon others.
