It's generally accepted that anything other than mild phimosis is not going to be relieved by stretching alone. Members of the anti-circumcision community will tell you that it works for everyone everytime regardless of the severity. For real and objective advice the best thing to do is speak to your doctor or a urologist to discuss the proposed benefits of stretching and examine the chances for success. It would also be worth your time discussing hte potential downfalls involved with these techniques.

There's certainly bad things that can happen if you are too eager. Sometimes even when you are not. Elongation of the foreskin can sometimes be an undesirable consequence of stretching. Or, as has been demonstrated in the forum - misdiagnosis of the problem. Without a proper examination by a medical professional you run the risk of elongating your foreskin while the problem could be with the frenulum (this has happend here before). There's also the risk of tears leading to scarring which could lead to a worsening of the condition (see here). There's always a chance for success of course. Jake Booth has been happily stretching away for the past 7 or 8 months and is quite happy with his progress by all accounts.

Damn straight. That's why you should seek the opinion of a qualified individual and not an arm chair doctor like you find on these forums.

All the best.
