One positive side effect of eliminating carbohydrates from your diet is that it makes digestion so much easier and better. You won't have any uncomfortable feeling as if you had eaten too much, and burping will be non-existant. Your breath will also improve. The mixing of proteins and carbs as we normally do is much harder on the digestive system. You can read about it in books written by the Diamonds, a couple who has done extensive research in this area of nutrition. Their books are widely available, so your local library should have copies. You'll also notice that you have a tremendous surge in energy because your body won't be overworked in digestion.

As I cautioned before, if you have a serious yeast problem, during the first few days, you will see conditions worsen for a couple of days while the yeast dies off. Drink lots of water during this time, and get plenty of rest. Don't give up because it means it's working. With patience, you'll feel better than ever before in your life.

BTW, your doctor likely will laugh off these suggestions. Mine had prescribed Tagamet and called it something he learned in medical school. Later when I saw him again, I told him I had thrown out the Tagamet and cured myself with products from the health food store and dietary changes. Of course he scoffed it off and denied it, but he certainly had no explanation for my cure without his help. The truth of the matter is that few doctors have studied nutrition, so it's up to the yeast under control.

You cannot hurt yourself doing this, and it's temporary at most, so just do it and your cure will be soon.
