A friend of mine in the USA sued his doctor for giving him an unauthorized circumcision. The case is now in mediation, and the defendant last week offered $100,000.00 and then $200,000.00, both of which sums were summarily rejected. A similar case against the same doctor resulted several years ago in a settlement of $1.5 million, so my friend is holding out for something more reasonable, considering the damage to his physical and psychic health.
>Ter, I would be seriously considering suing the "doctor" who did a circumcision on you as a cure for phimosis. All you needed to do was simply stretch your foreskin, and he is guilty of criminal charges for misleading you into an operation you didn't need, and which is still causing you a great deal of trauma. Lots of the guys in here have successfully stretched their foreskins. It works every time if you stick with it, and "doctors" like the butcher who mutilated you need to be stopped. All he was interested in was the money he was going to get out of you, and getting money from him is the only way to stop him from doing it to other innocent victims.
>The lumps sound to me like they could be where the veins that were cut have ballooned out because the blood now has nowhere to go, but it's hard to tell without seeing it. The reverse s shape of the penis when slack could be from the uneven cut and the strange sensations could be from nerves being cut. Here's a site that has some complications you can compare to your own to see what the problems are. At the bottom of the page you'll find other complication categories to click on and once you're don, if you click on the 'index page' it'll take you to lots more information. http://www.circumstitions.com/Restric/Botched6un.html
>If you have a look at the site http://www.cirp.org/library/legal/
>and go halfway down the page, you'll see the Federation of State Medical Boards, where you can complain in the USA if you choose to, and just below it is Australia and the UK (because I don't know where you are).
>>Firstly, let me thank all involved in what seems to be a level headed unbiased forum.
>>I had a circumcision nine months ago for phimosis (diagnosed as a tight frenar band), however I seem to be experiencing some unexpected issues. To this end I would be very grateful for any advice you can give me. I'm not particular happy with the standard of surgical care I recieved (uneven cut, etc.) but I shall not go into that.
>>
>>The first issue I have is that my glans is still very sensitive, the left side just at the corona is slightly swollen and discoloured from constantly rubbing against my clothes. Walking quickly is quite uncomfortable, not to mention if I run or cycle, certainly not what I had expected.
>>After nine months of exposure to air, rubbing in clothes and rubbing manually, I am geting a little annoyed that matters do not seem to be improving. Basically I seem to have the same degree of senstivity as I had after about three weeks. I've even considered that as I'm not happy with the standard of work this may be psychosomatic, but I doubt it.
>>Does anyone know when I can expect to get some relief from this?
>>Is there likely to be an external causes such as some kind of infection or allergy?
>>How common is it to have such sensitivity after so long?
>>Is there anything I can do, besides regular rubbing, an effort at being cruel to be kind?
>>
>>Secondly, I was very bruised and swollen after the procedure (substantially more than any pictures I have found on the web) and developed two haemotoma's, which duely became infected. One was of the left about half way up the shaft and one on the right just behid the glans which gave the penile shaft a reverse "S" appearance.
>>Nine moths later I still have this "S" shape when flaccid (might suit superman but not me). In fact there seems to be some substance underneath the skin on the entire shaft but in some places there are larger lumps which if squeezed give a slightly sore slightly tickelish sensation (squeezed a bit away from the scarline so I do not think it is just soreness from the scar itself, though there still is very slight bruising), there is one lump on the lower left just behind the glans which will still throb slightly from time to time although after nine months it is now very mild.
>>When can I expect these lumps to subside? as I assumed they would.
>>Is there any chance that these will need to be surgically removed?
>>
>>Hope someone can help me,
