As an answer to: Premature Ejaculation - likely NO different written by Paul B. at 12 Jan 2003 03:48:18:

thanks for the feedback/suggestions.

some clarification about my condition: i never before tried to pull back my foreskin neither in flaccid or erect state since i didn't even know that this was possible. (man, i can solve differential equations but don't know simple facts about my body...) when i tried, i noticed that i can pull back my foreskin in flaccid state but it's difficult and i was afraid to try too hard, so i didn't really try to see where the 'max' was. i can't do it at all in erect state. since masturbation and sex work well, i always thought the state of having the glans covered with foreskin in both flaccid and erect states is normal for an uncircumcised guy. i don't feel any pain or discomfort or such. i hope that clarifies some of your questions.

after posting my question, i searched a bit more online to find some more information. in between a lot of biased and sometimes very unscientific junk on both sides (pro and anti circ.) i found some useful information from which i gathered that there is a rather even split between PE gets better/gets worse/doesn't change. Which leads me to conclude that it is more a matter of individual circumstances - as you pointed out as well.

i have decided that for now i will first try to solve the phimosis by doing the stretching exercises. if it works, fine. if not and things get worse - as some pro-circ pages claim - i can still get a circumcision a year down the road or so.

thanks for the offer to provide me with stretching infos but i think with the stuff i found on male-initiation.com i can figure out how to do it. (though in case there is another webpage with even more detailed instructions, i wouldn't mind if you tell me the link).

here is my follow up question: right now there is no possibility of getting paraphimosis since my foreskin is way too tight to fit over the glans in the erect state. but assuming the stretching exercise will be successful, i might at some point reach the stage where the foreskin will slide back, though just barely and then maybe not slide forward again. i'm afraid that could happen, for example during intercourse. is that a valid fear and shall i maybe not have intercourse for a certain time during which the foreskin is stretched enough to glide over the glans but not stretched enough to do that easily?

>Above all, discuss it with her - because it is her satisfaction you are seeking, are you not? If it isn't, we really can't help you!

yes and no. my partner is sexually much more experienced but it seems that all her previous partners were somewhat egocentric and didn't really care that much about her pleasure. therefore while she enjoyed sex and most often reached an orgasm before, my intense playing with her has given her a whole lot more pleasure than she got before. i can give her multiple orgasms to a point where she is so sensitive she can't handle more. that is very satisfying to me since i really enjoy giving her pleasure. so because her 'main source' of pleasure is not through intercourse but manual stimulation, she's quite satisfied with it and doesn't mind if i don't last that long during intercourse. so it's mostly frustrating for me - which she knows and she is very nice about it but that doesn't change the fact that i would enjoy lasting longer... well, i guess i have my whole life in front of it to experiment/improve :) so for now i'm going to focus on curing the phimosis one way or another.
