Hi Mark

You might find manual exercises more effective than trying to stretch using dilating objects. I think this would definitely be worth a try. You might also find that betamethasone ointment speeds the process up.

I think this would be worth a try because the foreskin can generate amazingly erotic sensations. I didn't know this until I'd got mine good and loose, though I was amazed when I did.

The sensations I'm referring to are generated in the foreskin itself, so circumcision would likely remove the possibility of experiencing them. Not that this would be a disaster, or anything, since many men manage well enough without these sensations. All the same, it would probably be worth giving manual stretching a good shot.

If it works out, you might be impressed.

Also, a loose foreskin acts like a pre-applied skin of lubricant. With any luck, your partners would find its gliding action very comfortable and erotic.

Here are three links you might find interesting:

An excellent medical article by Michel Beaugé

Exercises that might help loosen a tight foreskin.

And exercises that might help loosen a tight frenulum.

Good Luck

For men who have tight foreskins, the main treatment options are:

PROGRESSIVE STRETCHING

Beaugé's article (http://www.cirp.org/library/treatment/phimosis/beauge) suggests regular masturbation and simple manual stretching are usually effective. Most people wouldn't exactly think of this as a medical treatment - doctors included - which could be why this approach isn't perhaps as widely known as it should be.

Exercise programs for stretching the foreskin are similar to any other regimen of stretching exercise, and work in much the same way. If you worked regularly at being able to touch your toes, then pretty soon you'd be able to touch them.

A foreskin that has been successfully loosened through exercise will retract easily, and will roll freely when the penis is erect. Beaugé implies that most men who have easy-rolling foreskins achieved this - often during adolescence or early adulthood - through regular masturbation without necessarily realizing they were doing anything useful.

STRETCHING ASSISTED BY OINTMENT

Betamethasone, a steroid ointment available on prescription, makes it easier to stretch the skin. The ointment, plus regular stretching, is reported to be successful. Results should be achieved more quickly than through manual stretching alone.

PREPUTIOPLASTY

The diameter of the foreskin is increased by making a series of incisions. The foreskin and its sleeve-like form are preserved. Foreskin sensation seems to be preserved too. After a successful preputioplasty, the foreskin should work pretty much exactly as it would have had it been progressively stretched.

DORSAL SLIT

The foreskin is slit, so that it is now like the cuff on a shirt. Sensation is preserved, but the foreskin's form and dynamic will have been slightly altered. After a successful dorsal slit, the foreskin should be easily retractable whether the penis is flaccid or erect.

CIRCUMCISION

The foreskin is amputated. The erogenous nerves it contains are lost and the dynamic of the penis radically altered. This isn't usually sexually disastrous, though many think the result must inevitably be sub-optimal.
