But this always happens to all men - some remains in the urethra - the channel through the penis - even if the foreskin is pulled back (or has been mutilated), and leaks out later.

Apparently some people are of the misunderstanding that the vagina is a substantial sized entry into a woman's body. Absolutely not, it's just a pocket! In fact, the opening in the cervix, the only passage from the vagina into the body, is quite small for the very purpose of keeping unwanted things out of the body. Indeed, it is partially for this reason - it is narrow - that women find "periods" painful - the uterus has to push to get the blood and pieces of its lining to pass out through the small opening. Of course having a baby requires it to stretch enormously, so naturally this is much more uncomfortable again!
So you may as well say that all the semen you ejaculate into your wife, will come out again afterward, generally when she next stands up. The sperm is only a tiny fraction of the semen, and the mucous in the cervix (the opening of the uterus) acts as a "filter" somewhat resembling the one on a cigarette (though that is of course a disgusting example), which lets the sperm inside, but rejects most of the semen.
Also, the semen coagulates ("clots") immediately on ejaculation so that it sticks on to the cervix to allow the sperm to transfer to the mucous, then the clot of semen dissolves again in ten minutes or so and falls away.
The consequence of all this is that only the first drop of semen (which is usually the most concentrated with sperm anyway) needs to get to the cervix to permit fertilisation, and "douching" (washing the vagina out immediately after intercourse) is quite useless as contraception - because the sperm has already got stuck in there! And propping the woman up to "pool" the semen near the cervix and/ or leaving her lying for so many minutes, is essentially worthless also - but is advised to anxious would-be parents to make them think they are doing something to help.
But do read up here on the forum and start stretching your foreskin - having it not retract certainly won't stop you enjoying intercourse, and it certainly won't stop you having children, but having it retract smoothly will allow you and your wife, much more comfortable intercourse.
