Last week a medical program chronicled the surgical procedures used to remove a hideous birthmark from the face of a child. The first step the plastic surgeon used was to insert a balloon under the good skin to cause it to expand. With time, the skin stretched and expanded, allowing the surgeon to remove the discolored skin, and then stretch the new skin over the denuded area, thus replacing the bad with the new.
This is the very same process used in curing the tightness that a few young men have with their foreskins.
