Having been an owner of one for more than 20 years, and knowing quite an amount of other people who also have one, I have never heard such a thing that the foreskin would be just as sensitive as any other skin.  The head is more sensitive to rubbing, the foreskin is more sensitive to light touch.

On the other hand, though --- if you want to keep the sensitivity of your precious cockhead, don't get circumcised.  Having it exposed to dry air will cause it to develop extra layers of keratin (skin matter) over the mucuosal surface it has now, trying to defend itself.  Also, it will be constantly rubbed to your clothes, and since you eventually get used to that, you will be less sensitive to less rough things, like a woman's vagina.  This is both common sense, and my actual own experience, having worn it exposed for a while in my early teens.

I also doubt your foreskin wouldn't help you in masturbation...
