Trying again for some advice --- I, sadly, don't recall you, though the .ie mail address sounds familiar.  What were your previous questions that went unanswered?  Why did you choose to get circumcised in the first place?
   Now to answer you...

>The stitches are now out but my erstwhile foresking where is stitched back to my penis shaft is still very swollen.. does this go down as it is far from attractive !!

Not rare.  Especially after allergic reactions (maybe you should have listened to the more anti folks here in the first place and you wouldn't have had such trouble?  Tough luck.)  The swelling will probably go away in a couple of weeks.  How comes the doctor didn't tell you about that you will be swollen for a while and it struck you surprising?  But anyway, don't worry, it will go down, probably in about a month at most.  Since every person reacts differently, it is hard to tell, but I guess it'll need about that much time.
And to tell the truth, a scar line is far from attractive by itself.

>Has anyone here any information or is this forum just to fight about whether or not people should be cut.

That's a nasty comment.  Shows you haven't been reading deeply, too.
