>Boby, I belong to those who say there is no loss of sensitivity after the frenulum (only) is cut. In my case it was done years ago. I'm uncut and I can assure you that the sensitivity certainly doesn't have to decrease by this treatment. It's really a great benefit not to be troubled by a rather tight fraenulum. Do not believe all the others that tell different stories. I'm not a foreskin-hater and I strongly advise you to keep it intact. It's a very special organ that can give you much pleasure, but clipping or tying up the fraenulum will not destroy the important nerves if done in the right way. Ask your doctor.
A person who has had the frenuloplasty done as an adult is able to make the comparison in the long term effects from before and after the surgery. So, thanks for sharing your experience, Alfred. I will have a consultation with a doctor on March 6th. I am trying to read and learn as much as I can before that. You say there's no loss of sensitivity after the frenulum is cut. Do you mean even in the most erogenous zone on the down side of the glans?
Also, there are different kinds of frenuloplasty. Was yours like the one described on the site about Harmen? (very helpful site) This plasty sounded perfect. Unfortunately I suspect the doctor would insist on doing it his way which could be quite different.
