Actually, that's exactly what Jim was suggesting! It's a particularly simple and practical way to do it (can do it simply with one hand down the pants, pretty inconspicuous if necessary), and there's no reason not to do it. Any tendency to stretch the foreskin itself is to your benefit anyway.
