Colin, no man wants to show his dick off to his doctor and yes, it is embarrassing. If it helps any: your doctor will have seen plenty of private parts in his career and he won't think anything of it - other than that you are a patient and his job is to get you well.

You could try stretching the foreskin, however, don't be fooled by those within the anti-circ community that say it works every time. The truth is that it works for some and not for others. Speak to your doctor first.
