Sounds as if it could be either bruising or oedema. If it was bruising (haematoma), it would have come up almost immediately, and would appear as blood under the skin. As oedema, coming up later, it would look light, even to the point of transparency (you can shine a torchlight through it - and it appears pink-white).
If there is no evident bend, and you did not actually hurt your penile shaft at the time, it is not going to be damage to the erectile bodies.
If it was infection, it would be very red and very painful.
Given the choices, it sounds like oedema. An ice bag - ice and water (no salt or any other additive) in a plastic "baggie", wrapped in cloth (such as a handkerchief), will help most of the things described, and particularly, oedema.
