James, we've covered this point time and again. Using your suggestion that we stretch (as opposed to grow) then we would all be walking stretch marks and have some funky translucent skin. When we gain weight our skin grows with us and then over time reverts back to its prior state when weight is lost.

I'm sure you won't agree with this as you once said that "humans did not evolve" which kind of says to me that you don’t put much stock in this whole crazy science thing.
