Look, let's summarise this.

> I just found out that i have phimosis. i am 16 years old and have for the past several hours been intensely reading on methods and treatments.

You imply that you "just found out" within the last 24 hours, and have just now managed to get access to the 'net to research this. OK, interesting. Perhaps you should come and explain what you mean at this point by "phimosis"? - I would like details spelt out carefully. "My foreskin won't retract" just doesn't cut it, and I think you need to explain, carefully, why and how you only "just found out"?

Note! This is an interactive process. I would like to presume you have given this board a good read and have thus an understanding of our ideas about foreskin stretching and the (often odd) personalities here. It's far easier for you to read, than for us to repeat what we've written time and time again, so I for one am not repeating the "How-To" steps. Also read Jim's Board.

In particular, insofar as no-one can say how long it will take you to fix whatever problem you have, no-one is about to even give you an estimate without all details.

Next, let's get it straight that you do masturbate. It is useful to know what your experience is of masturbation with however your foreskin presently is, and what you want to do in consequence/ association of the stretching. Also where you stand in regard to anticipating intercourse with a young lady in the future.

> i am very very reluctant to think about circumcision, but i really just wanted to know exactly how people get over all of this.

Let me make this as clear as I can without you standing in front of me. You need - and preferably should - never, ever consider circumcision for this problem. Circumcision is many things - it is a ritual in two significant religious groups and a number of countries, some of whom have the audacity to think of themselves as "civilised". In all these groups, its origin lies in the intent to partially sexually disable men, to render them more compliant to the society's expectations.

If you ever consider circumcision, I suggest you bear this in mind as the primary intent behind the procedure. You will hear a lot of obfuscating protests from those who have submitted to this ritual that "it hasn't harmed them". Many actually believe that, but it's your choice - can you make yourself believe that?

So - make a decision. Now! Either you are prepared, knowing its true purpose, to have a circumcision, or just forget the possibility - forever!

If the latter, and only if the latter, read on, and work through the answers.

> If anyone could explain how they do their stretching excersises i would be very happy.

Take a read through the forum. Please, rather than asking for repetition, do the reading, then come back with a reference to a post (you will need to go into the archives - they work quite fine, it is no problem and this forum is extremely "clean" and quick to load - one reason it is so popular!) and ask for any clarification of it that has not been made before.

> i have read that stretching sometimes doesnt work for some people, and they have to get treatment,

Now where have you read that? And what do you mean by "treatment"? Please cite the reference, and we can indicate how plausible it is.

> i am aiming for more the natural way and trying to stay away from betamethasone and circumcision as much as possible.

You can stay away from them completely. No problem. But betamethasone ointment (which you'd be happy enough to use if you had bad eczema - you wouldn't be so keen to worry about "natural" if you did!) can certainly speed up the process.

> also i was hoping someone could tell me about how long it takes to go from phimosis to a normally acting penis without scarring.

Because "phimosis" is a relative term, and because without instruction in person, we cannot gauge your degree of application of the principle, there is no answer as such. If you can as I first said, describe your situation in detail, we might be able to give a very broad indication.

The best indication you will get, is when you actually start the process. Expect an impressive improvement in a week or two, then a slow down. But at least you'll know then that it does work, and if you understand that what works to start, keeps working, then you will manage it quite well. If you get picky about it, then it won't work.
