>Ok, so i went in for a routine physical checkup a few days ago, and the doctor was doing his normal testicular checkup and i noted to him that when i tried pulling back my foreskin, it would not retract. That is, when i try pulling it back the very tip of the foreskin seems to widen up and i see about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of skin bunched together at the top.
If I understand you correctly, your foreskin extends beyond the tip of your
glans by 1/4-1/2 inch even when you attempt to pull back. Grasp the end of your foreskin with your fingers and pull out and away from the glans, estimating the minimum diameter of the opening...is that also 1/4-1/2"? Is the opening wide enough, say, to insert a pencil or your little finger?
>My doctor said he was going to look into what kind of phimosis he believes i have, but i am reluctant to hear him out as he himself recommended circumcision as the only real way to get over the problem. I will read through the archives and find as much information as i can on proper stretching techniques, as i have decided i will forget about getting a circumcision. Thank you very much Paul and Jim.
>EvanYou are right to reject your doctor's advice. The next time that you consult him for anything you should tell him about the simplicity and effectiveness of stretching. He probably won't listen to you, though, as stretching is free...there's no fee involved.
>p.s. Jim, it may just be my horrible computer, but the link you offered me for some reason isnt coming up with anything.I tried Jim's link just now and had no trouble accessing the site. Try typing in the address and see if that gives you entry.
