I don't agree with your idea that there is a difference in stretching in different directions. Think of what a cyst does to the skin. Cysts can form just about anywhere, and when they form near the skin surface, they expand the skin pretty much the same in every direction, don't they? The same goes for weight gains and tummy expansions, or for that matter, the expansion of limbs caused by muscle growth. It's really as simple as this: Skin will expand according to the tension applied to it.
Yes, I agree that restorers are much better informed than those trying to relief a little tightness. They are also better informed than most physicians. This is a fact that is easily proven in a couple of hours visiting a restoration site where information has been more thoroughly researched, developed, and proven than a college thesis! Those who are involved in restoration are also the best experts in the world about the effects of genital mutilation. They have walked the walk and paid the price.
