Back again after a 3 year absence!

Dunno if any of you guys remember me but I was the 16yo kid who asked WAY too many naive questions on the subject of phimosis on this forum 3 years ago. After months and months of unsuccessful stretching I finally took my problem to the doctor when I was just about to turn 18 and realised that not only was I suffering from phimosis, but from balanitis also!
We couldn't come to a conclusion whether the hypersensitivity of my glans was down to the inflammation because of this, or just down to the fact that it had never seen the light of day (I think it now as being the latter).

Anyway, i was told that circumcision was ESSENTIAL for my health, and was then put on a massive year-long waiting list (That's the british NHS for ya!). My circumcision was quite literally 2 days ago. As a general anaeasthetic and an epidural was used I didn't feel any pain at all; even when the aneasthetic wore off!

I've got no regrets about it right now but I'm still having a massive problem with the hypersensitivity. I know it's still early days after the circ but I was wondering if there are any ways to speed up the desensitization process? I'm currently using medicated talcum powder every now and then but I don't think it's having any effect!
