>Before you feel sorry for me, I'm really happy that my parents told the doctors that they didn't want an operation to change me to look one way or the other.

Proper choice. You would have ended up changed into a not-really-functioning woman, like the many of your kind. Lucky.

>None of this causes me any problem but the doctor told me that he believes that I should be circumcised because I can't keep myself clean.

I don wonder if he knows what he's talking about. Honestly if this quite unusual physique has not ever caused you a problem for 20 years, why would it now suddenly... Interesting view expressed by that doctor. I think he doesn't know much about foreskin in general, let alone intersexed people.

>I don't want to do this cause I don't know what the head looks like under the skin, if it's normal looking and I never have a problem, but he's kind of scared me. I want to leave things alone. The private intersex message board doesn't know what to do in these cases, although they all say no.

Since your penis isn't like the -- excuse me for laying it so -- normal ones, it would be highly advised against, as due to unusuality, there is a lot bigger chance of messing up.

>It seems like some doctors write here and maybe they have some advice? I don't think I could stand the head out.

You had it covered for 20 years, obviously it is sensitive. It isn't nice to expose something sensitive 24/7...

My suggestion would be either leaving it alone (since it hasn't caused any problems and it isn't really meant to be a tool for penetration according to your description), or follow some directions about stretching the skin, which -- when done properly -- will allow the retraction of the foreskin (as much as it is possible on your penis), and thus allow temporary exposure, more movement of the skin, etc. which add to sexual experience.

Ask us anytime, we'll try our best to answer.

You could also join the mailing list of Students For Genital Integrity (www dot studentsforgenitalintegrity dot com) for they also have a couple of intersexed people on the list who might be of help.
