It sounds as if you're having a bout with what's called balanoposthitis, which is the medical term for an inflamation of the knob (balano) and foreskin (posthitis) . Have you been using soap to wash under your foreskin? Probably 90% of the time that's what will cause it.

You're going to have to go round to see your GP. He/she will have a look and most likely prescribe some medicine called NIZORAL (200 mg). That medicine will put you right very quickly, however the longer you wait for treatment, the more chance there is of scaring and irritation to the ring on your foreskin which could eventually make it impossible to pull it down. In the meantime, best not to make it sorer with any notions of having a wank.

Once you put it right, remember no soap under your foreskin, it causes all kinds of problems. Just rinse with plain water and if you have a bath from time to time, don't sit in the tub of soapy water with your foreskin pulled down. Obviously, you're extra-sensitive to the alkaline in soap.
