I tried to put the operation off for quite a while but now i've had it done. if someone has tight foreskin I would reccomend it to them. I did not have any pain after the operation either, it was just slightly uncomfortable. Your really swollen afterwards but thats expected! make sure you pull your foreskin back after a few days to get it back to normal as soon as poss. The stitches are dissolvable, so theres no worries there! I say go for it...
Although I don't find anything against your preference and solution --- I have no idea how your experience has a connection to a tight foreskin.
