I agree with the philosophy of "letting people live in peace", but why can't you apply that same philosophy to your newborns? Putting them under a knife is certainly not "leaving them alone". I couldn't care less if you cut your OWN foreskin, or even the whole penis.
Since the foreskin was developed by millions of years of evolution, you'd have to PROVE that cutting it away will lead to better results for an AVERAGE (median) person (since every part of the body is ALREADY perfected by evolution, I do NOT have to prove that leaving the foreskin is better, the burden of proof lies on those who claim circumcised is better than intact, not the other way around). No such proof exists (if it does, please give me a link).
At the very least, you could give me a link to a poll about what's best-circed or intact. The participants would have to be circed as adults and not because of any medical condition (such as a tight foreskin problem). The participants should also have their circ done a while ago (such as a coupple of years).
