You all make much noise about nothing. AJ is right. Stitches in a healthy body shouldn't remain there longer than max. 10 - 12 days. Normally 8 days are sufficient. Okay, he didn't tell the obvious things, like to use sharp scissors or a good nail cutter and to cut only once per stitch. Your arguments would be correct if AJ had advised to use non-sharp scissors! All tools (also tweezers are useful) should be sterilized in boiling water or a flame.

If the stitches stay longer in the skin tissue, there could start an infection. So you have to remove them on time. If you think a doctor or nurse will do a better job than yourself, who's keeping you from going?

This issue shows your petty attitude towards physical treatments and your ambiguous behaviour. You are advising persons about treatments of tight foreskins, that can perform much more radical changes and certain risks than the removal of some stitches. You hypocrites!
