Hanging weights from the penis to encourage tissue growth while restoring one's foreskin seems at first the most logical solution to the problem, and many early devices relied on such methods. It quickly became obvious that this would hamper restoration by limiting the process to those times when standing. Subsequent devices were designed to allow stretching at all times. The "T-Tape" system, for instance, was designed to be worn twenty-four hours a day and to facilitate stretching both when flaccid or erect. The problem of allowing for expansion was solved by applying the tape to the erect penis, thus allowing for expansion during nocturnal erections. The T-Tape system can be worn while showering or swimming, as long as the tension is released. Ditto for urination. The only time when it must be removed is during sex or when it must be replaced...usually once ever 1-3 days. No reputable method relies on weight alone.

Members of NORM-Phoenix are now conducting trials of a new device invented by one of our group. The device involves a stainless steel weight encased in a foam sleeve. It has the advantage of holding skin in a stretched position at all times with the added benefit of weight while standing. I'll let you know how it works. So far results have been rather encouraging. The device can be worn while asleep, depending upon the individual capacity of one's skin to stretch without discomfort while erect.

I have also worn a facsimilie of the "Foreballs" device at night without problem. There's no reason why a rubber (or similar device) could not be worn at night, either. Stretching during these times is generally limited to when a nocturnal erection pushes against the device, however, thus limiting its performance.
